About Me

I am a natural red-head of Irish/German/Cherokee Indian decent. I am typically stubborn but am learning to listen and accept other peoples' advice and wisdom. If a friend were to describe me in a few words: dependable, giving, overachiever, intelligent, loyal, organized, anxious, fun. I graduated this May from the University of South Florida with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Public Health. I will continue my education with a masters in Medical Science (concentrating in Anatomy) while concurrently applying to medical school as an aspiring Orthopedic Surgeon. I recently transferred positions in the hospital I work at from Dieticians office to the Nursery unit. Meanwhile I do research involving antibiotic cement used in joint replacements. In my free time, I enjoy a variety of things. I love anything to do with the water, wave runners, boats, fishing, swimming, the beach. I like thrills, i.e. theme parks, sky diving, etc. I'll try anything once (that goes for food as well). I like watching and playing football/baseball. Traveling is a favorite, I love cruises and experiencing different cultures and locales, I hope to travel the world. I used to show horses competitively in hunter/jumpers around the state until my horse passed away (RIP Larry); although I still wish I could ride all the time. In high school I showed sheep through 4-H and was on the Hillsborough County Fair board and Sheep Committee. Random things I like: Diet Coke, my Mac, animals, high heels, cuddling, lying on the beach under the stars, helping people, holidays, cooking, horror/comedy movies, shells, bowling, video games, body art, candles, flowers, pictures. Things I dislike: Spiders, clowns, liars, and a certain ghost in a certain someone's house.
